See No Evil, Hear No Evil

Released on May 12, 1989

ROLES: Dave Lyons

In this comedy film, Gene Wilder teamed up once again with Richard Pryor, playing the role of Dave Lyons, a deaf man who becomes involved in a murder investigation alongside a blind man played by Pryor. Wilder's performance showcased his comedic timing and the chemistry he shared with Pryor.

Karen Wilder: This is a special one for me, as it was this role that brought Gene to my office to learn more for his role.  We became friends and I visited the set.    He helped with a PSA that I was working on and we started visitng with each other.   When I watch this film now, I smile and think of those days working and getting to know this wonderful man.
